OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: The genetic engineering stuff definitely contends with heavy ableism. He was developmentally delayed (possibly autistic, which is common read by fandom, though it has never been pinned down concretely), and his parents wanted to basically throw the whole child out. But he's not prone to talking about it as he's at a canon point where it's still a huge secret, so it's easy to avoid discussions.
He was also forcefully transformed without consent with genetic engineering.
Somnia: His Kimera form will cause him to have body horror transformation, including sometimes having limbs fall off.
